Tokyo Disney Resort announced that the total combined attendance at Tokyo Disneyland Park and Tokyo DisneySea Park for fiscal year 2015 (April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016) amounted to 30,191,000 persons (1,186,000 less persons, or 96.2% of the attendance figure for the previous year). This attendance figure is the third highest figure up to this time.
In fiscal year 2015, the new show at Tokyo DisneySea “King Triton’s Concert” (opened April 24, 2015) and the new Tokyo Disneyland attraction “Stitch Encounter” (opened July 17, 2015) proved to be highly popular. Moreover, the special events including “Disney’s Easter,” held for the first time at both Parks, and “Disney’s Halloween,” which featured a new theme for Tokyo DisneySea, also won favor with Guests.
