Get ready for some magic, folks! “World of Color – ONE,” the stunning nighttime spectacular at Disney California Adventure Park, is preparing to take a temporary bow for some sprucing up. Starting Monday, September 9, 2024, this captivating show will close for a six-week refurbishment, reopening on October 22, 2024.
Before heading into hibernation, “World of Color – ONE” will continue to dazzle guests with nightly performances at 9 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. until Sunday, September 8, 2024. This vibrant show, which features animated characters from Pixar’s “Inside Out” projected onto mist screens with bursts of colorful water, has been a must-see since its debut in January 2023.
Interesting tidbit: Back in June, a new pre-show titled “Emotional Rollercoaster” was added, celebrating Pixar’s record-breaking sequel, “Inside Out 2.” But that’s not all. The show has had its fair share of tweaks and adjustments. Shortly after its debut, the finale saw some changes due to guest feedback, and rumors about the show’s replacement circulated. However, after a quick touch-up in January 2024, “World of Color – ONE” returned to enchant audiences once again.
As we eagerly anticipate the refreshing fall return of “World of Color – Season of Light,” which offers a holiday twist on the classic performance, now’s the time to catch “World of Color – ONE” before it goes on a brief hiatus. What are your thoughts on the refurbishment? Have you experienced the show yet? We’d love to hear from you in the comments! Don’t forget to share this story with fellow Disney fans.
