As the galaxy far, far away makes its way to Disneyland Park, the highly anticipated Season of the Force event kicks off in spectacular fashion. Running daily through May 11th, 2025, this Star Wars-centric celebration brings with it an array of exciting new features that will leave fans in awe.
One of the highlights of this year’s event is the brand-new projection show, “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga.” This captivating nighttime spectacle transforms the spires of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge into a canvas depicting iconic moments from the Skywalker saga. With stunning projection effects and a moving musical score featuring themes from the films, guests will be drawn into the legendary story of the Skywalkers. The show debuts tonight at 9:00 p.m. and promises to be a must-see attraction beyond the Season of the Force event, continuing to mesmerize guests even after May 11th.
Additionally, for the first time ever, guests at Galaxy’s Edge will have the chance to meet Luke Skywalker himself. Luke, dressed in the iconic black costume from the Return of the Jedi era, marks his debut during this event. Though he’s made rare appearances in the past in his white costume from Episode IV – A New Hope, this marks his first meet-and-greet experience within the immersive Batuu landscape.
Season of the Force extends the previously strict alignment of Galaxy’s Edge with the sequel trilogy, welcoming characters from other timelines like Din Djarin, Grogu, Boba Fett, and Ahsoka Tano, reflecting a more inclusive Star Wars experience for fans of all eras.
As we look forward to more surprises and immersive experiences, we encourage all Star Wars enthusiasts to head to Disneyland and share their excitement.
