Attention all Disney and Star Wars fans! We have some exciting news straight from the epicenter of the magic—Disneyland! Disney has unveiled a first look at “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga,” the spectacular new projection show debuting tonight in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. This awe-inspiring show is part of the limited-time Season of the Force event, running from March 28 through May 11, 2025, so mark your calendars!
Tonight’s jaw-dropping performances are set for 9:00 PM and 10:15 PM. Expect the Batuu landscape near the Millennium Falcon to transform into a dazzling display of iconic moments from the Skywalker saga. With projection mapping and an unforgettable musical score featuring beloved John Williams themes, the spires come alive with the storied rise, fall, and legacy of Anakin, Luke, and Leia. It’s an experience that promises to captivate Disney and Star Wars fans alike.
But that’s not all! Disney has also unveiled a first look at the classic-era Luke Skywalker, making his debut in Galaxy’s Edge for meet and greets. Sporting his iconic Jedi robes, Luke will be available for limited-time appearances throughout the day. This is the first time guests can meet a classic-era Luke Skywalker, making it a not-to-miss opportunity for die-hard fans.
Both of these limited-time experiences are exclusive to Season of the Force, but we hear whispers that the projection show might just be extended. However, there’s no confirmation yet if either experience will make its way to Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World.
