Excitement is building at Disneyland Park as progress continues on the highly anticipated Haunted Mansion carriage house shop. As part of the Haunted Mansion grounds expansion, this new retail space is designed to capture the eerie charm of the iconic attraction, and fans are eagerly tracking each development.

In recent weeks, we’ve seen significant advancements in the construction. Initially, the shop’s framework was erected, and now, there’s even more to marvel at. The structure has moved from bare bones to a nearly enclosed building with walls where plywood boards once stood. The roof is now covered with black tarping, presumably a prep stage for the tile installation.

A closer inspection of the construction reveals a cut-out window, with the framing completed but the glass not yet installed. It appears the outer walls are being clad in steel siding, while details like the overhang facia are also taking shape. The transformation from a skeletal framework to a partially roofed, enclosed structure adds to the growing anticipation.

Even from different angles, the progress is evident. Despite some parts of the building still awaiting steel siding, the entire roof is enveloped in that black tarp, signifying preparation for the next stages of construction. Green construction barriers remain, signaling that there’s more work to be done, but the visual evolution is undeniably thrilling.

As the project advances, fans are invited to stay connected and informed. Make sure to follow along for more updates on both the carriage house shop and the rest of the Haunted Mansion refurbishment.
