Under the sparkling blue skies of Disneyland Park, the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle is already sporting a sprinkle of holiday magic. Even though it’s only mid-October, snow caps have adorned the roof of the enchanting castle, blending the chills of Christmas with the thrills of Halloween.
As visitors make their way down the bustling streets of Disneyland, they’ll traverse paths decorated with larger-than-life Mickey Mouse pumpkins and festive orange garlands. The sight of the snow-capped castle amidst the spooky decor creates a unique fairy-tale-like holiday mashup. Halloween guests are in for a delightful surprise as they get an early glimpse of the classic Christmas decor that usually marks the season.
Although it’s just October 14, the addition of snow caps has happened slightly ahead of the schedule compared to last year, when they first appeared on October 18. The transformation isn’t complete yet—the snow currently ornaments only the central section and turrets, but more is anticipated to follow soon as preparations continue.
This juxtaposition of snow and spook wasn’t seen until October 29 last year, so this year’s early start spreads the holiday cheer even earlier, giving guests an extra dash of Disney magic.
