Exciting news for Disney pin collectors and enthusiasts! The highly sought-after Grand Opening pins from Shanghai Disney Resort have made a surprise reappearance at EPCOT’s China Pavilion. Originally released in 2016 to celebrate the grand opening of Shanghai Disney Resort, these exclusive pins were snapped up quickly and have been hard to find since. Now, fans have a unique opportunity to grab these limited edition treasures once more.

The House of Good Fortune store in the China Pavilion is currently showcasing two of these collectible pins. The first pin is an enchanting round bubble design, reminiscent of a snow globe. It features Mickey and Minnie Mouse in their grand opening attire, with glittery confetti that swirls around the image of the resort’s Enchanted Storybook Castle. The “Grand Opening” text in vibrant yellow adds a touch of magic to this celebratory piece.

The second pin pays homage to the iconic Mickey ear hat. This black and gold pin glistens with matching gemstones and highlights the Enchanted Storybook Castle cutout in the center. Both pins not only commemorate the historic opening but also capture the enchanting spirit of Disney’s newest resort.

These pins are displayed on beautifully decorated wooden stands adorned with pink flowers, evoking the same enchanting decor seen during the Shanghai Disneyland grand opening festivities. While admiring these exquisite pins, guests might feel a nostalgic connection to the vibrant celebrations of 2016.

Given their limited release status, it’s unclear how long these pins will be available at EPCOT. Cast Members have hinted that the stock is limited and might sell out quickly, so collectors should act fast to secure these magical keepsakes.
