Magic is brewing in the bayou, and we have a first look at the enchanting new critters joining us in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom Park, opening this summer! Just in time for Mardi Gras, Disney has revealed a batch of charismatic musicians who’ll be crooning and jamming, brimming with the jazzy essence of Afro-Cuban rhythms. These critters are about to add even more soul to Tiana’s ever-buzzing celebration.
Let’s meet the stars of the show, starting with Felipe the Frog, our maestro pianist and the beloved owner of a swanky bayou nightclub. Picture yourself swaying to his spicy melodies under the twinkling night sky, surrounded by joyful fireflies. You won’t want to miss a beat of Mayra the Frog’s energetic flower blossom trumpet solos. Practicing since her tadpole days, Mayra’s toe-tapping rhythms will surely make you want to dance along.
Then there’s Mondo the Frog, a conga-playing prodigy whose rhythmical heart was discovered through a happy accident involving a bottle cap and an acorn. His reliable beats are the backbone of the bayou’s symphony. And don’t forget Isabel the Green Tree Frog, the youngest of the group, who brings her boundless energy and zest, eagerly following Mondo’s groove.
Adding to the merriment, Gloria and Delores the frogs are here to spice things up with a little gossip and a lot of fun as they observe log riders float by. And let’s not forget Lari the armadillo, who’s always popping up unexpectedly with a mischievous twinkle in his eye.
These delightful new characters, alongside the vibrant Zydeco and Rara performers already showcased, promise a rich, diverse musical journey through the bayou, a testament to New Orleans’s eclectic musical heritage. It’s going to be an unforgettable ride filled with charm, rhythm, and the magic only Disney can create.
