Are you dreaming of skipping the lines at Disneyland? Get ready for the ultimate park experience with the new Lightning Lane Premier Pass!
An exciting addition is coming to the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim starting October 23rd. The Lightning Lane Premier Pass allows a limited number of guests to bypass the lengthy queues at all 24 Lightning Lane attractions. For a cool $400 on top of your park admission, this pass enables you to skip booking specific times and offers photo perks for added magic. However, it won’t cover your basic entry, starting at $104 for weekdays, and you’ll need a reservation plus the Park Hopper option to maximize your day.
Disney officials revealed plans to adjust pass prices next year based on day and demand, fluctuating between $300 and $400—a treat for those seeking flexibility. This offering responds to long-standing requests from guests desiring a premium, time-saving experience akin to those at other theme parks. For East Coast fans, a version of this pass will launch at Walt Disney World in Florida on October 30, featuring different pricing and eligibility rules.
This announcement follows Disney’s recent price increases for most Disneyland tickets. Despite maintaining the $104 base price for one-day, one-park tickets, prices for busier days and multiday tickets have risen by up to 6.5%. Disneyland has assured that these adjustments reflect the high value and unique experiences the parks offer, balancing attendance and enhancing visitor satisfaction.
Disney continues to offer the Lightning Lane Multi Pass add-on starting at $32, for pre-booking specific rides, and the Lightning Lane Single Pass, for riding two specific attractions not included in the multipass. Keep an eye on how the new Premier Pass evolves with guest feedback.
