Avengers Campus at Disneyland is set to double in size, with two exhilarating new attractions on the horizon. Get excited for “Avengers Infinity Defense” and “Stark Flight Lab.” The announcement came during the second night of D23, Disney’s ultimate fan convention, hosted in Anaheim.
Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, revealed extensive plans for Disneyland Resort and Disney California Adventure. The upcoming “Avatar”-inspired land at Disney California Adventure will draw inspiration from “Avatar: The Way of Water” and the forthcoming “Avatar: Fire and Ash.” Expect thrilling water attractions and immersive experiences straight out of Pandora.
Additionally, the beloved Pixar film “Coco” is finally getting its first attraction at Disney California Adventure, promising advanced audio-animatronics that recall the classics like Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion. And, for those nostalgic for the roots of Disneyland, a new audio-animatronic Walt Disney will grace the Main Street Opera House in “Walt Disney: A Magical Life.”
Marvel fans, brace yourselves! “Avengers Infinity Defense” will transport riders across iconic Marvel locations, while “Stark Flight Lab” offers a unique experience with each ride pairing riders with different Avengers heroes. This expansion is sure to make Avengers Campus a must-visit destination.
Star Wars enthusiasts haven’t been forgotten either—the “Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run” will soon feature a new ride inspired by “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” powered by the Unreal Engine. Plus, mark your calendars for November 15th when “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure” opens, bringing “The Princess and the Frog” to life in an enchanting new attraction.
