Excitement is bubbling at Disneyland as more construction walls come down around Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in preparation for the first day of Magic Key previews. Guests were thrilled to catch a glimpse of the brand-new attraction sign and the entrance to Ray’s Berets, the highly anticipated merchandise location replacing the former Briar Patch gift shop.

The construction walls around the drop zone are still up, alongside the ongoing work for the Haunted Mansion’s carriage house shop. Despite this, last week’s removal of the walls around the queue has fans buzzing. In an amusing sight, we spotted a log vehicle on the ride drop—though it carried no riders, underscoring the excitement for the virtual queue which filled up in mere seconds on the first day of previews.

A closer look reveals the elegant sign for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, echoing its twin over at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, which already opened earlier this summer. Adjacent to the sign, the vibrant Ray’s Berets store instantly catches the eye. Decorated with whimsical hats and lanterns, it’s all set to welcome guests into its rustic, log-cabin-themed charm.

Ray’s Berets boasts a keen attention to detail, from the hats perched on signposts to the charming lanterns and a quirky upright boat brimming with merchandise. Though some elements, like the Disneyland Mail Box, surprise even the most informed Disney buffs, it all fits seamlessly into the enchanting backwoods theme of the Adventureland area.
