Exciting new dining and shopping experiences are set to make their debut at Downtown Disney District in Disneyland Resort! Visitors can anticipate a magical array of additions this fall and winter, replete with Marvel flair, gourmet delights, trendy boutiques, and sweet treats.
First up, the Avengers Reserve opens this winter, a must-visit for fans of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. This store will cater to Marvel aficionados with an impressive collection of collectibles, apparel, accessories, toys, and comics. Whether you’re a seasoned Marvel fan or new to the universe, the Avengers Reserve promises an immersive shopping experience that’s heroically unforgettable.
Fashion-forward guests can also look forward to the D-Lander Shop, which will showcase Southern California-inspired fashion just in time for winter. Expect trendy apparel, accessories, and jewelry that capture the essence of laid-back California cool, providing a fresh style destination for Disneyland fans.
Sweet-toothed visitors will be delighted with Disney Wonderful World of Sweets, which will replace Marceline’s Confectionery. The revamped store will offer an expanded array of candies, churro toffee, caramel apples, sour balls, lollipops, and freshly made Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn. You’ll even get to see confections being crafted in an exhibition kitchen viewable from the promenade, ensuring a treat for both the eyes and taste buds!
Fall also brings the adorable Kawaii Slime Cart, offering a playful selection of slimes in various textures, colors, and scents. This fun shopping experience is brought to you by a mom-owned business and is sure to captivate visitors of all ages with its playful gooey creations.
Chef Joe Isidori joins the magic with two new restaurants set to enhance the dining scene. A sophisticated steakhouse featuring prime beef cuts, fresh seafood, and craft cocktails will share space with a quick-service barbecue eatery, offering smoky delights like pulled pork and beef brisket. These culinary hot spots will be located on the former site of Tortilla Jo’s, bringing bold new flavors to Downtown Disney.
Lastly, the beloved Earl of Sandwich will introduce The Carnaby Tavern, inspired by the British Invasion of the ’60s. Enjoy a new table service dining experience with a patio and indoor/outdoor bar, all above the new Earl of Sandwich location. The existing Earl of Sandwich will close in 2025 to make way for the eagerly awaited Porto’s Bakery.
