An exciting, updated show is coming to Disney California Adventure’s Plaza de la Familia this fall, just in time for the Halloween season! Longtime fans of Disney Pixar’s “Coco” are in for a treat as “The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate The Musical World of Coco!” takes center stage. This enhanced version of the beloved “A Musical Celebration of Coco” promises new elements that bring even more magic to life.

Guests can look forward to a vibrant celebration that showcases the enduring importance of family, intertwined with breathtaking music and spirited dancing. The whimsical figure of Miguel will lead the festivities, and you’ll also witness the colorful depictions of the magical spirit guides, Dante and Pepita. This revamped show is part of the larger Plaza de la Familia, which will be adorned with festive decorations, delightful dining, and more, all honoring the spirit of Día de los Muertos.

Though Plaza de la Familia kicks off its seasonal celebration on August 23rd, the newly updated Coco show won’t debut until August 30th. Don’t miss the multiple daily performances running through November 2nd, 2024. And after the show, make sure to snap a picture with the hand-animated figure of Miguel—a perfect memento of your visit!
