Exciting news, Disney fans! Disneyland is gearing up for its 70th Anniversary with grand celebrations that include brand-new shows, thrilling attractions, and—most excitingly—new characters from the highly anticipated movie, “The Fantastic Four: First Steps.”
Aspiring actors, take note! Disney has rolled out a casting call for two beloved characters from the Fantastic Four franchise: Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) and Johnny Storm (The Human Torch). The hunt is on for actors aged 18 and over to embody these iconic heroes. The roles are set to run for a limited time, with actors required to be available a minimum of three days a week. If you’ve ever dreamed of stepping into the shoes of a Marvel superhero at Disneyland, this is your moment!
To audition, candidates must create a Disney Auditions profile, complete with a resume and four current photos that capture their best smiles and full-body shots. Once submitted, actors will proceed to a second phase that involves an online check-in and an application submission. Those who make the cut will be contacted for an in-person callback—truly an opportunity of a lifetime.
Reed Richards, the stretchy leader of the Fantastic Four, needs an actor between 5’11” and 6’1″, while Johnny Storm should be played by someone between 5’8.5″ and 5’10”. The roles come with a competitive pay rate of $25 per hour, plus an additional premium for “on-stage” time as a Look-Alike character. These superheroes will soon make their appearance in Tomorrowland, delighting guests and Marvel fans alike.
