Exciting news for Disneyland enthusiasts! The beloved Hungry Bear Restaurant has been transformed and rebranded as the Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree. A delightful new sign now greets guests, showcasing the revamped name in all its wilderness-themed glory. Perched on the second-floor seating area, a hungry bear still reaches for his evasive beehive, but now, his quest is highlighted by a vibrant new marquee.

The updated signage, which draws its inspiration from the unforgettable charm of the Country Bear Jamboree, reads “Hungry Bear” in crisp white at the top, followed by “Barbecue” in a playful yellow font, and “Jamboree” in bold orange at the bottom. This whimsical yet nostalgic design sets the tone for the reimagined dining experience awaiting visitors.

For those familiar with the previous decor, the old sign featured bold white letters on a brown backdrop, accompanied by the memorable yellow beehive – a feature that has been thoughtfully preserved. The nostalgic charm of the original bears, standing sentinel over the restaurant, remains intact, but now with an updated backdrop to match their lively new theme.

This transformation is just one part of a larger redesign within Disneyland Park. Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree will be located in the newly christened Bayou Country, which replaces Critter Country. This change will coincide with the highly anticipated opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure on November 15, 2024, adding more cohesive theming to the area and enriching the guest experience.
