Exciting news for Disneyland enthusiasts—our beloved Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party is set to return this holiday season. But there’s a twist: it will now be a weekend-only event.
In years past, the fiery celebration was a daily delight. However, recent budget cuts have prompted this new, leaner schedule. While it’s wonderful to see the colorful festivities continuing, the change raises questions about the future of live entertainment at Disneyland.
Located at Disney California Adventure Park, this vibrant party has always been a crowd favorite. The whimsical event will still feature the Three Caballeros, exuberant folklórico dancers, mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers, and impressively towering mojiganga puppets. Not to mention, Mickey and Minnie will join in their festive best! Mark your calendars. The Street Party runs from November 16, 2024, to January 5, 2025, with dates spread across select weekends.
Meanwhile, in a bid to keep things fresh, Disneyland has recently introduced Deadpool, a character that’s already stirring conversation for his unconventional fit within the family-friendly park. As part of Marvel Studios’ promotional efforts for “Deadpool & Wolverine,” the merc with a mouth is entertaining guests with humorous antics and bedtime stories to Wolverine.
