With Halloween fast approaching, Disneyland Resort has transformed into a spooky wonderland, captivating visitors with its festive decor. Located at Disney California Adventure, the entrance now boasts a dazzling Halloween-themed display featuring the notorious Oogie Boogie from “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Adorned with bat and pumpkin decorations, the area truly captures the spooky essence of Halloween, setting a delightful tone for guests as they enter.
Additional decorations have sprung up all around Buena Vista Street. Purple banners decorated with black bats now hang on buildings, adding a playful yet eerie atmosphere. Prominently up from last year, these banners, which now adorn the facades of several stores, bring a lively Halloween spirit to Buena Vista Street. Particularly charming is the decoration at Oswald’s Tires, where purple flags complement the store’s nostalgic ambiance.
Over at Cars Land, the spirit of Halloween is showcased with creative and whimsical decorations. The “Happy Haul-O-Ween from Cars Land” sign at the entrance greets guests with garland and festive imagery. This year, the iconic witch scarecrow car stands proudly, constructed from stitched burlap with remnants of old car parts adding to its spooky charm. Themed movie posters like “Attack of the Space Zombies From Planet B” and “Escape to Hitch Mountain” add a delightful touch of nostalgia and creativity.
Visitors to Flo’s V8 Cafe will notice whimsical spiderweb chains and a black vehicle featuring spidery extensions and extra eyes, adding to the eerie fun. The nearby “Trunk or Treat” sign, with Mater flashing a toothy grin, invites guests to dive into the Halloween festivities. To top it off, each cone at the Cozy Cone Motel has black eyes and mouths, adding a spooky flair to the fun establishments.
Last but not least, Disneyland Park itself hasn’t been left out of the Halloween makeover. Walking down Main Street U.S.A., guests are treated to cheerful jack-o’-lanterns peeping down from second-floor windows and various delightfully decorated storefronts. It’s a scene that captures the festive spirit perfectly, ensuring a memorable experience for everyone.
