Big news for all Disney park-goers! The magic comes at a slightly steeper price this season as The Walt Disney Company announced a hike in ticket prices at its beloved Southern California theme parks, Disneyland and California Adventure. On those bustling weekends and holidays, where the parks brim with visitors, ticket prices are increasing by approximately 6.2%, taking the price from $194 to $206 per day. This price adjustment is effective immediately.

Park enthusiasts keen on jumping between the two parks will still need to pay an additional $65 for a Park Hopper ticket, which thankfully remains unchanged. Meanwhile, Disney’s “Imagine” Magic Key pass, an annual pass allowing access on select days, now costs $599, up from the previous $499.

But the changes don’t end there. Disney has also adjusted the pricing for other Magic Key passes, which offer discounts on select food and merchandise purchases and provide reductions for Lightning Lane Multi Passes, allowing visitors to skip the lines at popular attractions. For instance, the “Inspire” pass, now $1,749, sees a rise of 6.1%, while the “Believe” pass climbs to $1,374 from $1,249, signaling a 10% increase. The “Enchant” key experiences the steepest increase, soaring by 14.7% to $974 from $849.

Despite these hikes, the entry-level ticket for low-demand days remains steady at $104. And for families with younger children, there’s some relief ahead. Disneyland will offer discounted $50-per-ticket packages from January 7 to March 20, available for purchase starting October 22.

Jessica Good of Disneyland Resort assures, “We always provide a wide variety of ticket, dining, and hotel options, and promotional offers throughout the year, to welcome as many families as possible.” Notably, these changes only affect the California parks, with no immediate price adjustments announced for Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
