Anaheim, Calif. — A routine morning visit to Disneyland took a dramatic turn today as an SUV caught fire in the Pixar Pals parking structure, spreading its flames to two other vehicles before Anaheim Fire Department extinguished the blaze.
The fiery incident was reported at 9:47 a.m. this morning. According to Sgt. Jacob Gallacher of the Anaheim Police, the fire originated from a Toyota RAV4. Situated off Disneyland Drive and just north of Magic Way, the Pixar Pals parking structure temporarily transformed into a scene of urgency as firefighters swiftly brought the flames under control.
Despite the quick response, the fire resulted in damage to at least three vehicles, including the initial RAV4. While the spread to additional vehicles is unfortunate, prompt action by the Anaheim Fire Department ensured no further escalation of the situation.
Vehicle fires, while alarming, are rare occurrences. Disney park-goers can take solace in the fact that comprehensive safety measures and rapid response teams are always in place to handle emergencies like these efficiently.
