In a recent incident that left children in tears at the Happiest Place on Earth, Disneyland Resort in Anaheim witnessed a surprising event. Jessenia Diaz, a 26-year-old mother from Torrance, was arrested and escorted out of the park on September 24 after she allegedly tried to sneak her two young daughters into Disney California Adventure Park without proper admission.

Captured and shared on TikTok, the video shows Diaz being handcuffed and led out by security, with her distressed daughters clinging to her. The caption read, “Getting arrested at the happiest place on earth,” highlighting the stark contrast between Disneyland’s magical atmosphere and the unfortunate situation.

Reports from the Anaheim Police Department state that Diaz had a valid ticket for herself but refused to answer staff inquiries about her children’s ages, walking away instead. This wasn’t her first attempt; authorities noted she had tried this same method four times in recent months. Despite offers from Disney staff to help resolve the issue amicably, Diaz chose not to cooperate, leading to police intervention.

Following her arrest for trespassing and obstructing a peace officer’s investigation, Diaz was booked and later released. The incident serves as a reminder of Disneyland’s policy that only children under three can enter the park for free when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.

This is not the first time rule-bending tactics have surfaced at Disney parks. Other viral videos have shown similar attempts, like a family using a baby stroller to sneak an older child into Disney World in Florida. Disney has also tightened its Disability Access Services (DAS) to curb misuse, with violators facing permanent bans.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on this incident. Have you noticed any similar situations during your visits to Disney parks? Feel free to share in the comments and encourage others to join the discussion!
