You’ll soon be able to coast through Lightning Lanes at Walt Disney World and Disneyland whenever you want – but it’s not going to be cheap.
Both Disney World and Disneyland have unveiled the new Lightning Lane Premier Pass, joining the existing Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass. This highly anticipated addition allows guests to access Lightning Lane attractions without advance reservations. Just show up and enjoy the ride.
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass includes all attractions currently covered by the Multi Pass and Single Pass, with guests allowed one entry per attraction each day. Plus, PhotoPass downloads are included for the day. Disney World, starting October 30, will pilot the pass exclusively for guests of Deluxe and Deluxe Villa resorts. Prices vary by park and date: $129-$199 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, $169-$249 at EPCOT, $269-$349 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and $329-$449 at Magic Kingdom.
Meanwhile, Disneyland will offer the pass from October 23, costing $400 per person, per day for the rest of 2024, including access to both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. In 2025, prices will adjust to $300-$400 depending on the date. Availability is limited and will be first-come, first-served.
Despite these new options, you don’t need to break the bank to minimize wait times. Utilize the Disney apps to monitor wait times, leverage single rider lines, and choose off-peak dates for lower costs and shorter waits.
