Exciting news for Disney fans! A brand-new way to skip the lines is coming to both Disney World and Disneyland. Introducing the Lightning Lane Premier Pass, this new pass will allow guests to bypass the queues for a smoother, more magical experience. But what makes this different from the existing Multi Pass and Single Pass? Let’s dive into the details!
Beginning October 30th at Disney World, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass exclusively targets guests staying at Deluxe and Deluxe Villa accommodations. Park visitors who snag this pass will relish the convenience of skipping lines at each participating attraction once per day. While typically available up to seven days in advance, the launch date will not allow for pre-booking, so plan ahead!
For those visiting Disneyland, the Premier Pass kicks off on October 23rd and brings a unique twist. Unlike Disney World, anyone can purchase the pass on a first-come, first-served basis, and guests can secure it up to two days before their park reservation. Even more enticing, the pass applies to both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure on the same day!
Pricing for Disney World varies by park and date, ranging from $129 to $449 plus tax, while Disneyland’s Premier Pass starts at $400 per person for the rest of 2024, with a slight price drop in 2025. Note that there’s no Park Hopper option announced yet and no changes have been made to the existing Multi Pass or Single Pass systems.
