Exciting news for all Disney California Adventure fans! The beloved nighttime spectacular, “World of Color – ONE,” is set to light up Paradise Bay once again, following a six-week refurbishment. After its temporary pause starting on September 9, 2024, the show returns with breathtaking water displays and dazzling illumination on October 25, 2024, with not one but two performances at 9 p.m. and 10:15 p.m.

Originally, the refurbishment was expected to wrap up on October 23, 2024, but the extended delay only heightens the anticipation among fans. This enchanting spectacle, featuring beautifully illuminated patterns and the iconic Ferris wheel backdrop, has become a staple of Disney California Adventure’s magic. Just in time for the holiday season, “World of Color – ONE” will transition to “World of Color – Season of Light” starting November 15, 2024, running until January 6, 2025, ensuring the festive cheer continues throughout the holidays.

“World of Color – ONE,” which first dazzled guests in January 2023, has continuously evolved. Notably, a pre-show celebrating “Inside Out 2” titled “Emotional Rollercoaster” was introduced in June 2024, adding another layer of joy and emotion to the experience. While rumors swirled about the return of the original “World of Color,” fans have embraced the current version—with its updates and new installments celebrating Disney’s latest releases.
