Disneyland fans, brace yourselves for some major changes at Disney California Adventure as the resort gears up for its 70th-anniversary celebrations. With new attractions on the horizon, two beloved shows are making their final curtain calls.

First up, the high-energy “Disney Junior Dance Party,” which has been a hit with young kids and their families, has officially ended its run. Known for its lively music and beloved Disney Junior characters, this interactive show will be missed by many. The last show took place on March 24th, 2025, leaving many little ones without their favorite Disney Junior dance breaks.

But that’s not all. The popular rooftop stunt show “Avengers Assemble,” featuring thrilling performances with characters like Captain America, Black Widow, and Black Panther, will also be closing soon. This epic battle against Taskmaster has wowed crowds for years, but Disney announced it will permanently end on April 5th, 2025.

Fear not, Disney fans! Exciting new additions are on the way. Debuting at California Adventure’s Disney Theater on May 16th, 2025, is “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!” This new stage production promises interactive fun with Mickey, Minnie, and friends, inspired by the beloved “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” series and the upcoming “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+”.

Moreover, fans can look forward to a special meet-and-greet with Rex from Toy Story at Pixar Pier, starting June 1st, 2025. And that’s not all! On May 23rd, both the “Pixar Pals Playtime Party” in Fantasyland Theatre and “Stitch’s Interplanetary Beach Party Blast” at Tomorrowland Terrace will return, offering more interactive and musical fun for guests of all ages.

As Disneyland prepares for another milestone anniversary, it’s clear that change is afoot. While we say goodbye to some favorites, these exciting new offerings promise to create magical memories for years to come. What do you think about these upcoming changes?
