The Disneyland Resort, often regarded as the happiest place on earth, has recently faced troubling allegations. Reports have surfaced accusing several security cast members of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior towards guests at Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and Downtown Disney District.

One Reddit user, u/Extreme-Isopod-3508, shared a particularly upsetting experience. During their recent visit, they encountered two security cast members who made inappropriate comments directed towards their family and other guests. Feeling deeply uncomfortable, they decided to cut their vacation short and head home. “Security guard Jaime makes a comment about everyone’s attire,” the user shared, noting that women and young girls were often the target of sexually charged comments. The user also described an incident where a security guard manager used a derogatory term when questioning their daughter’s medical equipment. This incident, coupled with previous negative encounters, has led the user to vow never to return and to cancel their annual pass.

Other guests have come forward with similar stories of inappropriate conduct. u/r8chaelwith_an_a recounted witnessing racial discrimination during a security check; and u/SouthDeparture2308 described an unsettling incident where a security dog was allowed to frighten a young girl. These anecdotes paint a concerning picture of the atmosphere fostered by certain members of the security team.

No company is immune to the occasional bad apple, but such behavior starkly contrasts the magic and joy Disney aims to project. Any guest who encounters such issues should promptly report them to Disney Guest Services to ensure they are addressed and rectified.
