Disneyland’s famed Club 33, long shrouded in mystery and exclusivity, is opening its membership waitlist for the first time. Tucked away in New Orleans Square, this members-only club was envisioned by Walt Disney himself, inspired by the VIP lounges at the 1964 New York World’s Fair. Known for its strict code and luxurious experience, it has intrigued Disney fans for decades.

Members of Club 33 enjoy unprecedented perks, including access to exclusive dining spots and a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the park. The club, named for its 33 Royal St. address, features a concealed entrance marked by a tasteful “33” plaque. Stepping through its doors immerses members in a world of charm and sophistication, a sanctuary that once only those in the know could access.

Although Disneyland has often kept tight-lipped about Club 33, it’s now breaking tradition by advertising the club’s existence online and on the Disneyland app. However, aspiring members should know that the waitlist is rumored to stretch for several years. To express interest, one must fill out an online form detailing their personal information. Acceptance is at the discretion of Club 33 leadership, who will reach out should an opportunity arise.

Being a part of this elite club doesn’t come cheap—initiation fees can soar up to $50,000 with annual dues of $15,000 or more. Despite the high costs, the exclusive experience, celebrity appearances, and the mere idea of being among the privileged few to partake in Disney’s premium offerings make it a coveted aspiration.
