This week’s “Disney Doodle,” by artist Ashley Taylor imagines what the Blue Fairy from “Pinocchio” would do if she had the chance to visit a Walt Disney World Resort theme park. In the film, she rewards Jiminy Cricket with a gold badge for his help in guiding Pinocchio’s brave and selfless behavior.
That moment in the film inspired today’s Doodle: “The Blue Fairy recognizes Jiminy as Pinocchio’s conscience by giving him a solid gold badge,” Ashley said. “So I can easily see her being the one to hand out celebration buttons to everyone entering the Magic Kingdom!”
