As the spooky spirit of Halloween continues to enchant Disneyland, several exciting changes are happening throughout the month of October. Let’s dive into the magical transformations that await this season!
The Disney Gallery on Main Street, U.S.A., known for showcasing Disney-inspired artworks, has reopened after a period of refurbishment. Visitors can once again immerse themselves in the enchanting world of Disney art starting October 1st.
Ride enthusiasts, take note! There are some ride closures and reopenings to keep in mind. Dumbo the Flying Elephant will have a brief one-day closure on October 1st but will delight guests for the rest of the month. The Jungle Cruise is set to reopen on October 4th after about a month-long closure. Unfortunately, the Disneyland Railroad and “it’s a small world” will remain closed throughout October, with the latter getting spruced up for its festive Holiday transformation on November 15th.
Expect some construction at Disneyland’s entry gates as a major $4.8 million refurbishment project is underway. Starting October 7th, we’ll see more gate updates. Disney promises minimal disruptions, but stay tuned for any changes that might affect your visit.
Of course, Halloween crescendos on October 31st, making Disneyland even spookier with special treats, merchandise, and entertainment. And while you’re enjoying the eerie festivities, keep an eye out for early glimpses of holiday décor. Last year’s first Christmas decorations were spotted as early as October 27th!
