What’s your favorite part of the 2018 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival? Is it the Outdoor Kitchens with dishes, desserts, and drinks from around the world? The amazing Disney character topiaries? The Garden Rocks Concert Series? Or maybe it is all of these and more? No matter what your favorite part of the festival is, get ready because the fun is just getting started.
This year we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, which takes place from February 28 through May 28, 2018. New offerings this year include Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration – a scavenger hunt that leads guests on an adventure around World Showcase, the Honey Bee-stro Outdoor Kitchen presented by the National Honey Board, Imagination Play Garden, and fun new FTD Floral Photo Spots.
There is fun to be had at the festival for kids of all ages. Disney Parks Moms Panelist Lauren shares one must-see area for little ones. “One of my favorite experiences every year is exploring the Goodness Garden Butterfly House Presented by GoGoSqueeZ. I’ll never forget the sound of my little one’s squeals of joy watching the butterflies flutter around.”
Fellow panelist Cathy looks forward to the many popular musical artists that perform at the festival each year. “Concerts are included with your valid admission to Epcot. Shows are usually three times a night, so check the show schedule and get ready to rock and roll!”
“The Outdoor Kitchens have returned with perennial favorites and a few new kiosks. My favorite has to be the pun-tastic Honey Bee-stro! How adorable is that name?” said panelist Brandy. “You can call 407-WDW-TOUR to schedule a tour of festival gardens, including the Royal Tea Garden Tour and the Gardens of the World Tour. Be sure to don your antennae and discover the hoppy-est springtime activities, like Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration and the Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt. The Garden Rocks Concert Series is full of great acts, so check out the lineup before your trip!”
If you are interested in a more behind-the-scenes look, four unique tour options offer a sneak-peek into the magic of the festival. The Royal Tea Garden Tour and the Gardens of the World Tour are back, as well as the English Tea Garden Tour and the Behind the Seeds Tour. All four are guest favorites, so definitely try to schedule one on your upcoming visit.
