Big shifts are happening at Disney California Adventure Park’s Avengers Campus. The high-octane “Avengers Assemble” rooftop stunt show is set to take its final bow on April 5th. This action-packed performance, which showcased Black Widow, Captain America, and Black Panther battling the formidable Taskmaster, is joining the growing list of canceled entertainment offerings as the park gears up for an exciting expansion.

Disneyland officials have announced this as part of the larger Avengers Campus development plans, though they’ve kept mum on what new experiences might replace the stunt show. Fans can rest assured, however, that the campus isn’t going dark completely. The “Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje” and “Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off” performances will continue their lively entertainment.

This isn’t the first entertainment cut from Avengers Campus. Last June, “Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts” had its final performance, and in November, the stunt performers were removed from “The Amazing Spider-Man” show. While some elements, like the “stuntronic” robot and character meet-and-greets, remain from Spider-Man attractions, the intensity of the original show has been dialed down.

All isn’t gloomy in the land of Marvel heroes. The Avengers Campus expansion will bring in the highly anticipated “Avengers Infinity Defense” and “Stark Flight Lab” attractions. Meanwhile, the Fantastic Four are set to debut in Tomorrowland this July for meet-and-greet sessions timed with the release of the movie “Fantastic Four: First Steps.”

It’s an exhilarating time of change and growth at Disney California Adventure Park. As fans, we’d love to hear your thoughts on these developments! Share your excitement and opinions with us in the comments section below.
