It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and Disney Parks around the world are decked out for the holidays! Take a look at how our international resorts are making the season holly and jolly for millions of guests worldwide.
Shanghai Disney Resort is preparing for an enchanted Christmas celebration, with exquisite holiday decorations all across the resort and favorite Disney characters dressed in their holiday best, including the beloved Santa Goofy. During the day, guests can listen to the Disneyland band during “Happy Holidays Mickey!” and dance with Mickey in a lively Christmas Swing Dance. Each night, Olaf will lead the “When We’re Together” Tree Lighting Ceremony to illuminate the 60-foot tall Christmas tree in front of Enchanted Storybook Castle.
To help with the holiday shopping, Sweethearts Confectionery will transform into a Christmas Gift Shop with 40 limited-release seasonal products such as Christmas stockings and reindeer beanies. There’s even a Duffy Popcorn Bucket! And speaking of delicious food, the Royal Banquet Hall, Remy’s Patisserie and Lumiere’s Kitchen will have special Christmas meals added to their menus.
It’s a Joyeux Noël at Disneyland Paris! Mickey and Minnie are celebrating the holidays in style at Disneyland Park during Disney’s Christmas Parade, complete with snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A. Fans of the mischievous Stitch won’t want to miss “A Merry Stitchmas,” and little ones will love seeing The Enchanted Advent Calendar progress each December morning until Christmas Day at the foot of the Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Walt Disney Studios Park is hosting A Truly Goofy Christmas with all-new mapping technology and special effects to project magical holiday landscapes onto The Hollywood Tower Hotel. At Disneyland Park, guests also have the chance to meet Marie from the Aristocats, Scrooge McDuck, Thumper, Miss Bunny and, of course, Santa Claus himself.
Hong Kong Disneyland is transformed into a winter wonderland filled with yuletide carols, magical lights and shimmering snowflakes during A Disney Christmas. The Castle forecourt hosts the Mickey and Friends Christmastime Ball, and guests can meet their favorite Disney characters during Holiday Wish Moments. To send some Disney magic to loved ones at home, Santa Goofy is at his Post Office on Main Street, U.S.A. with one-of-a-kind Santa Goofy Commemorative Stamps.
Dessert lovers can enjoy the Christmas Dessert Party at the train station, the Market House Bakery’s sweet holiday treats and the Christmas Pluto Popcorn Bucket available at outdoor vending carts. There are also more than 100 seasonal merchandise items on sale, including a Tiny Tsum Tsum Advent Calendar and holiday gifts featuring Frozen and Coco.
During Christmas Fantasy at Tokyo Disneyland, Disney Friends share holiday tales in a special parade, and the Disney Gifts of Christmas nighttime performance displays enchanting holiday scenes. Over at Tokyo DisneySea, the Colors of Christmas nighttime show at Mediterranean Harbor features a towering Christmas tree and snowfall, with appearances by Gelatoni, StellaLou, the Genie and Abu.
The fireworks spectacular Starbright Christmas lights up the night sky and is viewable from both parks all through the holidays. Also, dozens of Christmas merchandise items are available for guests to take home a piece of the magic.
