Michael Moriarty, the Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, shared that the event will be jam-packed with immersive entertainment, extraordinary moments, and boundless Disney magic. Guests can expect three unmissable entertainment experiences: a new anniversary-only castle stage show, the largest parade in the park’s history, and the biggest nighttime spectacular Hong Kong Disneyland has ever seen.
The celebration will kickstart with “Disney Friends Live: Party at the Castle!”, an electrifying 15-minute concert-style stage show set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Castle of Magical Dreams. Featuring exclusive 20th-anniversary party outfits for beloved characters like Mickey, Duffy, and Disney Princesses, this show promises high-energy pop music, dazzling dance moves, and interactive moments that will have everyone in the party spirit.
Next, the “Friendtastic!” Parade will wow guests with 11 incredible floats and over 100 performers. Iconic Disney and Pixar characters from films like “Encanto,” “Zootopia,” “Toy Story,” and many more will lead the extravaganza. The details on these floats, including the “Casa Madrigal” from “Encanto,” will be nothing short of astounding.
Finally, the nighttime spectacular “Momentous: Party in the Night Sky” will span from the Castle of Magical Dreams to Main Street, U.S.A., featuring large-scale 3D projection mapping, drones, choreographed fountains, and pyrotechnics. This 360° immersive spectacle will showcase many beloved Disney characters, making it a ground-breaking show you won’t want to miss.
