In the 2007 film, “Enchanted,” Giselle is a princess who finds her way into the real world – downtown Manhattan to be exact. Lost in this new “land,” she’s reluctantly befriended by New Yorker Robert Philip and his daughter, who offer her overnight shelter in their apartment. The next day, Giselle puts her talents to the test to make a fresh and presentable gown – out of material from Robert’s curtains.
This moment was the inspiration for this week’s Disney Doodle, in which artist Ashley Taylor imagines Giselle would explore each and every princess dress available in the shops along Main Street, U.S.A., should she have the opportunity to visit.
