If you thought Walt Disney World’s “Tangled”-themed restrooms were magical, wait until you experience the wonders of Fantasy Springs at Tokyo Disney Resort. Opening on June 6th, this grand expansion is the largest since Tokyo DisneySea’s debut in 2001, and it promises an immersive blend of Disney stories like never before.
Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro highlights the innovative storytelling and impeccable details that make Disney parks world-class destinations. “Fantasy Springs gives guests the sensation of stepping directly into their favorite Disney tales, such as ‘Frozen,’ ‘Tangled,’ and ‘Peter Pan,'” D’Amaro shared. Every new advancement in technology and ride immersion techniques at Disney theme parks finds its way into further enhancing each new project. Here, we give you a sneak peek into the splendors of Fantasy Springs.
Imagine venturing into what feels like a new Fantasyland, where rockwork sculptures of Disney characters such as Maleficent and Sleeping Beauty blend seamlessly into lush, scenic landscapes. Fantasy Springs isn’t just about the visuals—it’s a sensory-rich environment where Disney magic springs to life! The port features “mini-lands” dedicated to “Tangled,” “Frozen,” and “Peter Pan,” with attractions unique to this location.
Prepare to fall in love all over again with Rapunzel and Flynn Rider in the world’s first “Tangled”-inspired attraction, Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival. Glide gently through a symphony of floating lanterns as Rapunzel and Flynn sing “I See the Light.” Meanwhile, Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure goes beyond a typical ride, turning guests into Lost Kids on a mission to rescue John Darling from Captain Hook, creating an exhilarating and lengthy adventure unlike any other Peter Pan ride.
For fans of “Frozen,” the new attraction Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey provides an emotional roller coaster through pivotal scenes from the film. Young Anna’s sorrowful plea to build a snowman, coupled with heart-wrenching ride movements, offers a ride experience that’s both touching and thrilling.
Dining experiences at Fantasy Springs are equally captivating. Imagine feasting in The Snuggly Duckling from “Tangled” or savoring meals at a royal banquet in Arendelle Castle. For more immersive experiences, fans can even stay at the luxurious Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel, complete with views and details that keep the fairy-tale magic alive.
