Step into the enchanting world of Fantasy Springs, the latest magical addition to Tokyo DisneySea, situated in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture. Unveiled to the media on May 7, this impressive expansion represents the most significant development in the park’s history, with an investment of approximately ¥320 billion JPY (about $2 billion USD). Scheduled to open its gates on June 6, this captivating new realm promises immersive escapades inspired by beloved Disney classics like “Frozen,” “Peter Pan,” and “Tangled.”
As visitors enter Fantasy Springs, they’ll be greeted by monumental sculptures of Disney princesses adorning a sprawling rock wall, setting a whimsical tone right from the start. Within the Frozen Kingdom area, guests can marvel at the painstakingly reproduced Arendelle Castle, complete with its enchanting gates and bridge. The majestic North Mountain and Elsa’s ice palace rise in the distance, adding to the area’s magical allure.
Fantasy Springs unfolds across 140,000 square meters (around 1.5 million square feet), featuring three thematic zones from Disney movies and a luxurious hotel. With four new attractions, visitors can embark on thrilling adventures in Peter Pan’s Never Land—where a pirate ship awaits—or join Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival, illuminating her iconic tower.
The experience is further enhanced with the exclusive 1-Day Passport: Fantasy Springs Magic, which ranges from ¥22,900 to ¥25,900 (about $147–$166) for adults. This special pass ensures minimal waiting times and unlimited access to all four new rides and attractions. However, it’s available solely to guests staying at the Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel, consisting of the opulent Grand Chateau (56 rooms) and the more extensive Fantasy Chateau (419 rooms), priced upwards of ¥66,000 ($420).
Guests not opting for the special pass can still enjoy the new attractions with a standard 1-Day Passport Tokyo DisneySea, costing between ¥7,900 and ¥10,900 (around $50–70) for adults. Free Standby Passes and Disney Premier Access are also available through the Tokyo Disney Resort app for a seamless visit.
