Disney’s Newest Tiki Mug is Here — And It’s a Must-Have!
Celebrating a milestone is always a grand affair at Disneyland, and this year, one beloved attraction is turning 65! The Matterhorn Bobsleds are marking their 65th anniversary, and Disney is honoring this event in style with a special keepsake you won’t want to miss.
At Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar in the Disneyland Hotel, a brand-new Tiki mug themed to the Matterhorn Bobsleds is making its debut. This highly anticipated collectible, dubbed the “Matterhorn 65th Anniversary Abominable Snowman Mug,” comes with a Coconut-Pineapple DOLE Whip and features artwork by Doug P’Gosh, who will be available to sign the mugs.
However, securing this mug won’t be a walk in the park. Disney will be offering it exclusively through Mobile Order on June 20th via the Disneyland app. Devoted fans should set their alarms for the 6 AM PST release to ensure they snag one — these precious mugs are expected to sell out quickly.
For those lucky enough to grab one, the designated pickup window is from 8 AM to 5 PM on launch day. And if you’re hoping for a signed edition by P’Gosh, make a plan to visit between 9 AM to 12 PM or 1 PM to 4 PM. Remember, there’s a limit of two per order, so plan wisely.
