Something NEW has come to Disneyland!
Disney is always at its best when incorporating new touches into their parks, and Disneyland, the “Happiest Place on Earth,” is no exception. Just a few weeks ago, a whimsical addition captured our hearts: a new Alice in Wonderland-themed water fountain and refilling station in Fantasyland. Now, this trend is continuing with an exciting new addition near Pooh Corner in Critter Country.
Disneyland visitors will now notice a Winnie the Pooh-themed water fountain and refilling station gracing the area near Critter Country, which is soon to be reimagined as Bayou Country when Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens in November. The adorable new feature, much like its Alice counterpart, includes a water bottle filling station flanked by two water fountains at different heights – one for adults and one for the little ones. The delightful design showcases honey pots with the clever label “h2Onney” and honey dripping down the fountain.
Winnie the Pooh has long been a beloved staple in this cozy corner of Disneyland. From the popular meet & greet with Hundred Acre Woods friends in the 1990s to the launch of The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh dark ride in the early 2000s, Pooh and his pals have maintained their charming presence. It’s heartwarming to see that even as Critter Country transforms into Bayou Country, the magic of Winnie the Pooh continues to find its place.
As you explore Disneyland, make sure to stop by this charming new fountain. These thematic touches truly add a sprinkle of magic to your park experience. Stay tuned to Mickey News for the latest updates on new Disneyland features and more treasured moments!
