Get Ready to Celebrate: Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Extravaganza!
For nearly 70 years, families from all over the world have walked down Main Street, U.S.A., thrilled over Space Mountain, and captured memories in front of the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland. Now, the California resort is set to commemorate this incredible milestone with the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration. Running from May 16, 2025, through summer 2026, Disneyland promises a magical experience filled with special entertainment, themed merchandise, and unique experiences designed just for this occasion.
Kicking off the festivities is a brand-new theme song, “Celebrate Happy,” performed by none other than the Jonas Brothers. This catchy tune will accompany visitors throughout various entertainment experiences. Not only will there be a new parade and revamped shows like “World of Color Happiness” hosted by Joy from Pixar’s Inside Out, but we’re also excited for the return of the beloved “Paint the Night” parade. Additionally, the “Wondrous Journeys” nighttime spectacular will transform Disneyland Park’s landmarks with state-of-the-art projections and fireworks on select nights.
For those exploring the park, look out for special nods to the anniversary in attractions like “It’s a Small World” and Toy Story Midway Mania! Keep your eyes peeled for Miguel from Pixar’s Coco and exclusive celebration-themed decor scattered across the attractions. The celebration continues with limited-time merchandise perfect for every Disney fan. With collections inspired by everything from Sleeping Beauty Castle to Walt Disney himself, guests can bring home a piece of the magic.
Don’t miss the opportunity to save with special ticket deals and hotel discounts. A limited-time, multi-day park ticket is available for as low as $120 per day, and hotel stays at Disneyland Resort properties offer up to 30% off on select bookings. A magical key experience, the “Key to Disneyland,” allows guests to unlock surprises and commemorative pins by visiting different lands within the park.
We’d love to hear your thoughts about Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration! How are you planning to “celebrate happy”? Drop a comment and share this story with your fellow Disney fans.
