Disneyland Resort is rolling out the rainbow carpet this weekend in celebration of Gay Days Anaheim, offering a delectable selection of limited-time rainbow-themed treats. From September 13 through 15, guests can treat themselves to an array of vibrant desserts that not only look delightful but also celebrate inclusivity and joy.
Firstly, the Rainbow Macarons are making a splashy return and can be found at the Coffee House and Tangaroa Terrace: Casual Island Dining within the Disneyland Hotel. These visually stunning confections, with their rainbow-colored designs, are a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds.
Another highlight to look out for is the Rainbow Linzer Cookie, available at several locations. Fans can grab this colorful delight at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta and Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream in Disney California Adventure, as well as at Red Rose Taverne, Market House, and Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe in Disneyland. The cookie features a glossy red center emblazoned with a rainbow-character illustration, surrounded by white icing and sprinkled with vibrant hues.
For those looking to indulge in a more substantial treat, the Rainbow Cake is a must. Available at Paradise Garden Grill and Aunt Cass Café in Disney California Adventure, and Plaza Inn in Disneyland, this layered cake boasts bright, bold colors and is topped with a charming red Mickey Mouse decoration.
Typically, these rainbow-themed items grace Disneyland Resort’s menus during June for Pride Month. However, this special offering aligns perfectly with the extended celebration of Gay Days Anaheim. To join in the festivities, participants are encouraged to wear red shirts on Saturday at Disneyland and on Sunday at Disney California Adventure.
