As the summer sun sets, it’s that time of the year again—Disneyland has announced its annual price adjustments. This year, most daily tickets have risen by an average of 6%, with the premier Magic Key pass seeing a substantial 20% hike. The new rates are already in effect.
For the comparison buffs out there, the Consumer Price Index climbed 2.5% over the past year, based on stats from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This makes Disneyland’s increases notably steeper, an issue that is generating quite a buzz.
However, there’s a silver lining. The budget-friendly Tier 0 tickets remain at $104, though these come with significant limitations on available visit days. Want to take advantage of these? You only have five days left in 2024 to use them. Plus, Disneyland is reintroducing its beloved kids’ ticket offer, allowing little ones to visit for as low as $50, with sales starting October 22 for dates post-January 7, 2025.
Moving on, here are the new daily ticket prices:
– Tier 0 – Still $104
– Tier 1 – $126, a 5.9% increase
– Tier 2 – $142, a 6% increase
– Tier 3 – $164, a 6.5% increase
– Tier 4 – $180, a 6.5% increase
– Tier 5 – $196, a 6.5% increase
– Tier 6 – $206, a 6.2% increase
In terms of multi-day options, prices have gone up similarly:
– 2-Day – $330, a 6.5% increase
– 3-Day – $415, a 6.4% increase
– 4-Day – $474, a 6.5% increase
– 5-Day – $511, a 6.5% increase
Then there’s the Magic Key annual passes, where prices have seen a more dramatic increase. Notably, the Inspire Key now costs 20% more than last year. Disneyland spokesperson Jessica Good emphasized the varied ticketing options available to cater to different guest needs throughout the year.
But there’s more on the horizon. Disneyland is in the midst of a $1.9 billion expansion plan, DisneylandForward, recently greenlit by the Anaheim City Council. An exciting addition teased for the future includes a new Avatar-themed area, similar to the popular Pandora – The World of Avatar in Disney World, Florida.
