Disneyland Park visitors, rejoice! The much-anticipated path between New Orleans Square and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has officially reopened, now sporting a fresh, new look. After months of construction barriers rerouting guests, the vibrant walkways are ready to provide seamless transitions between classic Disney charm and intergalactic adventures.
Walking through New Orleans Square, guests will find the renovated path around Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes. This scenic route, brimming with architectural allure, now boasts brand-new pavement designed to resemble a rustic dirt path, giving a nod to the natural aesthetics of Critter Country.
Centrally, the pathway also highlights the soon-to-open Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree, which will replace the old Hungry Bear Restaurant, sporting an all-new Country Bear Jamboree theme. Though the restaurant isn’t open just yet, its vibrant new signage teases the exciting changes that guests can look forward to.
Moreover, the refurbished pathway ensures comfort and convenience. Thoughtful touches, like shaded seating areas and a newly operational FuelRod kiosk for rental chargers, cater to guest needs while maintaining the rustic ambiance of Critter Country.
With soft wood touches, cracked pavement upgrades, and enhanced scenic views, this refreshed walkway delivers an inviting and immersive experience for all park-goers. The reopening marks a significant milestone in Disneyland’s continual efforts to balance historical charm with new-age magic.
