Disneyland Paris Enhances Guest Experience with New Attraction Signage
Disneyland Paris is taking proactive steps to improve visitor experiences by adding new cautionary signage at various attractions. This initiative aims to mitigate the disappointment guests might face when they discover they can’t ride together on single rider lines. It’s a small but mighty move to keep the magic flowing smoothly for families and friends who visit the park together.
For those unfamiliar, Disney parks worldwide have various systems to help guests skip the lines. In recent years, Disney Genie+ and individual Lightning Lane passes have become staples at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. Genie+ allows access to select attractions’ Lightning Lane queues, sometimes costing up to $40 per person. For singular rides like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, you can purchase individual Lightning Lane passes.
Across the pond at Disneyland Paris, a similar but distinct Premier Access system operates. Guests can use Premier Access on a pay-per-ride basis, with prices fluctuating based on demand and season. This system offers an opportunity to skip the long standby queues one ride at a time, including popular attractions like Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toqué de Rémy and Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain.
Interestingly, Disneyland Paris has also incorporated single rider lines to enhance efficiency and reduce wait times. These lines can sometimes offer a quicker route, but the trade-off is that guests will not ride with their party. To address this, the park has introduced new signage clearly informing guests that those opting for the single rider lines will be separated from their group. This small but significant change will help manage expectations and improve overall guest satisfaction.
Recent operational challenges have pushed Disneyland Paris to adopt other crowd control measures as well. Last summer, both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park enforced temporary entry limitations during peak hours from 3 PM to 10 PM. Combined with the reopening of the newly refurbished Disneyland Hotel and the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics, these efforts to manage guest capacity are crucial in maintaining the park’s magic.
