The Baroque Hoedown music will be heard on Main Street U.S.A. at Disneyland for a while longer.
The Disneyland Resort announced that the Main Street Electrical Parade’s run is being extended until August 20, 2017.
The parade was originally scheduled to end its run in mid-June. It was brought back to Disneyland from Walt Disney World in January for a limited run while the Paint the Night parade was put on hiatus.
According to the Disney Parks Blog post, the extension is due to popular demand.
The parade first appeared at Disneyland in 1972, ending its run in 1996. It moved over to Disney California Adventure from 2001-2010, then was sent to Walt Disney World to play on Main Street U.S.A. in that resort’s Magic Kingdom theme park.
