Tonight’s “Disney Parks After Dark” image came all the way from Shanghai Disneyland in China. The newest Disney theme park – which is coming up on its first anniversary in just a few more weeks – features the amazing Enchanted Storybook Castle.
Built as the largest castle in Disney theme park history, Enchanted Storybook Castle celebrates the stories of all Disney Princesses in mosaics dedicated to the tales of Tiana, Merida, Rapunzel, and the royal sisters Elsa and Anna. An illuminated marquee also reveals motifs attributed to Belle, Cinderella and Snow White.
Inside the castle, guests can dine at Royal Banquet Hall, enjoy character greetings, transform into royalty with a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeover and more.
At night the castle is serves as a focal point for the nighttime “Ignite the Dream – A Nighttime Spectacular of Music and Light” fireworks show.
