Star Wars Nite is in full gear at Disneyland, and the fun is out of this world! This special event at Disneyland Park is a must for any Star Wars enthusiast, offering everything from character meet and greets to exclusive merchandise and themed menu items. We had the chance to dive into some of these cosmic culinary creations, and we were pleasantly surprised!
Our first stop was at Galactic Grill for the Wookiee Whoopie Pie. Priced at $7.99, this dessert features a chocolate whoopie pie filled with caramel mousse, covered in white, dark, and silver crunch pearls, and adorned with a chocolate belt decoration. The consistency was akin to an ice cream sandwich, providing the perfect balance between sweet and decadent. We highly recommend sharing this delightful treat, unless you’ve got a sweet tooth that just can’t be tamed!
Next on our interstellar culinary journey was the “Porg” Belly Sandwich from Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree. Costing $15.99, this dish includes flavorful pork belly served with arugula salad, heirloom tomato, and honey sambal sauce. Though the arugula was a tad soggy for our liking, the combination of spicy honey sambal and smoked pork belly was simply divine. Paired with beer-battered French fries, this meal was both satisfying and delicious.
