Yesterday, Disneyland Resort experienced a bit of turmoil that required police intervention. Renowned for its nearly 70 years of history and enchanting attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain, Disneyland is a haven for whimsical experiences. However, one of its most iconic rides, “it’s a small world,” became the center of attention for an entirely different reason.

The boat journey through “it’s a small world,” with Mary Blair’s vibrant aesthetics and the catchy Sherman Brothers’ anthem, is a staple at all but one Disney castle park worldwide. Despite its enduring charm and updates over the years, including Disney character additions and upcoming Marvel overlays at Tokyo Disneyland, it’s usually a tranquil retreat in the park. Yet, this iconic attraction has been the backdrop for various incidents over the years, from guests stripping mid-ride to venturing off the boat unauthorizedly.

According to X (formerly Twitter) user @DisneyScoopGuy, the area around “it’s a small world” was cordoned off, with cast members and at least seven police officers present. Several male guests were escorted out via a backstage route, signaling some serious rule-breaking. While the specifics of their misconduct remain unclear, Disneyland’s strict regulations suggest they likely pushed some boundaries too far.

This incident recalls past disruptions involving content creators and guests who have faced ejection or bans for pranks, overnight stays, and even fights. The swift and heavy response to yesterday’s disruption indicates that the misbehavior must have been particularly egregious.
