This national celebration runs now through June 10 and highlights the importance of recreational fishing and boating. Did you know? There are guided fishing excursions departing from select Walt Disney World Resort Hotels that let you experience catch-and-release bass fishing with a trained Disney fishing guide. Fishing was a pretty big part of my life growing up in New York, so I was excited to learn about this unique offering here in Central Florida.
If you’d rather fish from land, dockside fishing featuring a casting-rod is also available at the Fishin’ Hole at Old Man Island at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort–Riverside.
