Marvel Studios is cooking up quite a feast for fans with a slew of new release dates, while some existing titles are experiencing a bit of a shuffle. After the recent San Diego Comic-Con, Disney has confirmed several exciting updates that every Marvel enthusiast should know about.
First up, mark your calendars for May 1, 2026, as “Avengers: Doomsday” takes the place of “The Kang Dynasty.” Additionally, titles for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” and the asterisked “Thunderbolts*” have made their way onto the revised schedule. However, one untitled film scheduled for a July 24, 2026 release has been removed entirely. In its place, two new movies are set for July 23, 2027, and November 5, 2027.
No changes were noted for some major forthcoming projects: “Captain America: Brave New World” is still on track for a February 14, 2025 release, while “Blade” is set for a mysterious November 7, 2025 slot. Fans will still see “Avengers: Secret Wars” on May 7, 2027, with a few untitled films trickled in between 2026 and 2027. The official lineup now looks like this:
* Captain America: Brave New World – February 14, 2025
* Thunderbolts* – May 2, 2025
* The Fantastic Four: First Steps – July 25, 2025
* Blade – November 7, 2025
* Untitled Marvel – February 13, 2026
* Avengers: Doomsday – May 1, 2026
* Untitled Marvel – November 6, 2026
* Avengers: Secret Wars – May 7, 2027
* Untitled Marvel – July 23, 2027
* Untitled Marvel – November 5, 2027
“Blade” standing firm for a 2025 release is a surprise, given its rocky production history and past rumors that it might get delayed. Meanwhile, we speculate that the February 13, 2026 movie might be something significant like “Shang-Chi 2,” leading straight into “Avengers: Doomsday.”
The biggest mysteries lie in the untitled projects for 2027, but we might be looking at exciting entries such as a new “Deadpool” or an “X-Men” movie, setting the stage for Marvel’s next phase. Although nothing definitive has been revealed yet, fans should keep a close eye on D23 Expo happenings and Marvel’s future announcements.
