Prepare for a season full of magic, excitement, and endless fun as central Florida’s theme parks roll out fresh parades, dazzling drone shows, and reimagined attractions to keep everyone entertained all summer long!
Over at Disney Springs, the mesmerizing “Disney Dreams That Soar” nighttime show, presented by AT&T, is set to launch on May 24. This spectacular display boasts 800 drones, weaving beloved Disney characters and iconic scenes from films such as “Star Wars” into the twilight skies through innovative technology and a breathtaking soundtrack. Don’t miss this limited-time experience that runs until August 2!
Magic Kingdom is abuzz with anticipation for the grand opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure on June 28, a revamped version of the classic Splash Mountain ride infused with the spirit of “The Princess and the Frog.” Meanwhile, Frontierland’s Country Bear Jamboree will be temporarily closing for updates, ensuring guests enjoy a refreshing twist on this beloved attraction when it reopens later this summer.
Universal Studios is also joining the summer fun with the debut of DreamWorks Land on June 14. This new area is designed especially for younger visitors and features interactive experiences with “Shrek,” “Trolls,” and “Kung Fu Panda,” replacing the former Woody’s KidZone. Additionally, Universal is introducing two new nighttime shows: “CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular,” combining over 200 fountains and 600 drones with projection mapping, and “Hogwarts Always,” a magical projection show themed around a wizarding school year at Islands of Adventure.
SeaWorld Orlando is making waves with “Xceleration,” a high-octane stunt show spotlighting BMX, skateboarding, and hip-hop music, kicking off on May 24. The park will also celebrate its 60th anniversary with the lively “So Much More to SEA Parade.” Moreover, the beloved “Ignite” fireworks display will be lighting up the night sky once again on select evenings, starting May 24.

Check out the new encounters at Gatorland and don’t miss the glow-in-the-dark festivities at both Typhoon Lagoon and Aquatica water parks.
