Recently announced by The Walt Disney Company, this ship will showcase some of your favorite Disney, Pixar, and Marvel movies in the form of unforgettable dining and confectionery experiences.
Imagine stepping into “Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King,” where the iconic songs and unforgettable moments of the beloved animated classic “The Lion King” will be brought to life. Set within a savanna-inspired venue that features breathtaking depictions of animals and nature through innovative lighting and special effects, guests will be transported to the heart of the Pride Lands. An ensemble of live musicians and storytellers will narrate a musical journey through the film’s timeless soundtrack, with performances including “Circle of Life,” “Hakuna Matata,” and a captivating mash-up of “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” and “Be Prepared.”
And if you’re a fan of Pixar’s “The Incredibles,” you won’t want to miss a visit to “Edna Á La Mode Sweets” shop. Inspired by the endearing short film “Auntie Edna,” this sweet shop transforms Edna Mode’s modern sewing lab into a whimsical wonderland filled with handmade gelato, ice cream, cookies, candies, and other specialty treats. Adorable sculptures of Edna Mode and the unpredictable super baby Jack-Jack add to the charm and fun.
The Disney Destiny will also feature additional dining options such as “Cafe Megara,” themed after the Disney movie “Hercules,” with its Greco disco design, and “Cafe Merida,” which draws inspiration from Pixar’s “Brave,” showcasing a Celtic-centered décor with glowing lights paying tribute to the mystical will-o’-the-wisps.
